We have repaired stoves in Colorado Springs since 2020. In that time we learned one thing. People do not just want a working stove. They want to know what is going to happen, and what it will cost, before anyone touches it.
So here is our whole process, step by step. No surprises.
Call (719) 467-3100 or use the booking form. It takes about two minutes.
Tell us four things:
You can also text a photo of the model number. It sits on a sticker inside the oven door frame or under the cooktop lid. That photo helps us load the right part before we leave the shop.
Same day help. Call now for same-day service. We are open 24/7. Burners quit on weekends, and most shops in town are closed until Monday.
We call or text you back with your time window. You get the name and photo of the technician who is coming. That way you know who is at your door.
If a slot opens up earlier, we call you. If we are running late, we call you then too. You should never have to wonder where we are.
Your technician arrives, puts down a mat, and gets to work.
Finding the problem is the part that takes skill. A burner that will not light can be a dirty port, a wet burner head, a bad igniter, or a bad gas valve. Those are four different repairs. Guessing wrong costs you money.
So we test parts instead of guessing. Your technician checks the part, shows you what failed, and explains it in plain words. If you want to see it, we will show you.
One thing we always check on gas stoves. Colorado Springs sits at 6,035 feet. Manufacturers say gas appliances may need different orifices or adjustment above 2,000 feet. Thin air changes the way gas burns. A stove that worked fine at sea level can burn yellow or light slowly here. Most repair companies never look at this. We check it on every gas call.
Before we touch a wrench, you get the full price in writing.
You see what part failed, what it costs to fix, and how long it will take. Then you decide. Nothing happens until you say yes.
The price you approve is the price on your invoice. It does not change halfway through. If we find a second problem while we work, we stop and tell you first.
About the visit fee. There is a diagnostic fee for the trip and the testing. If you go ahead with the repair, we apply that fee to the repair.
Our trucks carry the parts that fail most often. Igniters, spark modules, heating elements, infinite switches, thermostats, temperature sensors, and control boards for major brands.
That is one reason we repair stoves only. When you carry parts for one appliance instead of fifteen, the right part is usually already on the truck.
Most repairs take under an hour. Control boards and glass cooktop panels take one to two hours.
When the repair is done, we test the stove in front of you. Every burner. The oven too, if that was part of the job. Then we clean up the work area before we leave.
You get a parts and labor warranty in writing on your invoice. If the same problem comes back inside that window, we return and make it right at no cost.
We also send you a short note with what we replaced and what to watch for. Keep it. If you sell the home or file a warranty claim later, that record helps.
Sometimes the honest answer is do not repair it.
We use the 50/50 rule. If your stove is past half its life, and the repair costs more than half the price of a new one, replacement is the better choice. A stove lasts about 13 to 15 years, so half life lands near year seven or eight.
When your stove fails that test, we tell you. We will not sell you a repair that will not hold. You still pay the diagnostic fee for the visit, and we will tell you what to look for in a new range.
We have run this business here since 2020, and word travels between neighbors in this city fast. One honest answer is worth more than one extra ticket.
If you manage rentals, the process changes a little.
No phone tag between two people. Call (719) 467-3100 and ask about property manager scheduling.
